Subject: KmotionCNC aborting [KMotion/KFLOP Test Version 4.34f]
Hello,

KmotionCNC 4.34f is aborting abruptly whenever I click on any button that would cause browsing files (e.g. assigning actions to user buttons, selecting a wrl file for displaying the tool in the GCode viewer, etc.).

I have windows XP and I haven't flashed the new firmware in the Kflop yet (and as I think  it's unrelated, I won't so it's easier to revert to previous version I was using, 4.33 ).

During installation of 4.34 f I got a pop up window informing me that some Microsoft run time libraries were going to be installed (I can't report the exact message as I didn't expect problems so I didn't write it down...).

A few seconds later I got another pop up message telling that one of those two libraries couldn't be installed because I was missing some prerequisites (again I didn't write down the exact message but I seem to remember the problematic library was 6.2.x version).

After the installation completed, KmotionCNC is aborting whenever I click on any button that calls the file browser.

The milling machine isn't connected to the network

Any suggestion welcome...
EC

Hi EC,

Its a known issue that Tom is working on.

I have been copy/paste into g-code window, and moving files to specific locations in order to work around this.
